Shipping policy

Due to the handmade nature of our products, we have decided to make FIL a pre-order concept store. That means once you place an order, your purse will be made from scratch specifically for you.

Each item may take at least 10 business days of handwork and up to 1 month to be assembled and ready for shipping. We specify under each listing the amount of time it requires to produce your bag. Please note that not one bag is the complete copy of the other and that is because they are handmade. These slight differences give your bag a sense of uniqueness and a luxury of being handmade.

If you are in hurry and need your order sooner that the specified time-frame, please contact us on info@filatelier.com and we will try to do something about it.

Your order ships from Miami, Florida if it is placed to be shipped anywhere in the United States.

Your order ships from Lebanon if it is placed to be shipped to the middle east or be delivered in Lebanon.

 

Returns & Exchanges 

We are absolutely sure that you will fall in love with your FIL bag; however, if for any reason you need to return or exchange an item, please contact us at info@filatelier.com within 7 business days of receiving your order.

We allow returns within 7 business days of order delivery. That means you have 7 business days to request a return. To start a return, please contact us at info@filatelier.com.


To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Once your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Customizable orders cannot be returned due to the specification and uniqueness of the product. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards as well.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
